Sundance Film Festival
Through the Sundance Ignite Program, Shaina has served as a faculty leader in charge of selecting and mentoring students as they attend the Sundance Film Festival.
During the festival, students are encouraged to attend film screenings and panels as well as exclusive events and networking opportunities with other students around the world. This experience is possible through funds from SU alumni Jimmy Kuhn.
The program normally involves 10 students who travel to Park City for the in-person festival but was expanded to 250 students in 2021 when it was held virtually.
